What I use Linkedin for:
Networking and searches. It is a helpful tool to see credentials for those who are proposing to do business with me or have been recommended. I also enjoy reading the updates for my connections and learning of advancements in technology as pertains to the aviation industry.

Who am I:
I am certainly a driven, hard working individual who holds myself to high standards and admire others who do the same. It may at times reflect my being a bit “old-school” in that there is no substitute for investing time in learning and patiently practicing your craft. There are no short-cuts on the road to the top, but there are obstacles. Without obstacles one never gets to test themselves or hone their skill set. Meeting a challenge head-on is perhaps a hallmark of the way I have pursued my business career. Today I am called a disruptor for I have broken at least some of those glass ceilings and successfully advocated for advancement of women in aviation. I am a leader and an influencer. I am an innovator. I am at times the voice others do not have for I have little fear in speaking up or speaking out. My empathetic, softer side I think shows through the commitment to charitable work I have done throughout my life.
What I do:
I work as an aircraft sales professional focused on business aviation. Having established my own aircraft brokerage firm in 1997, I assist companies and individuals in the acquisition or sale of their business/private aircraft. My area of expertise is among a select group of make/models of jet aircraft.
Why you should follow me on Linkedin:
I offer a window into the wonderful world of business aviation and a perspective as to the unique opportunities that exist in the industry. If you want to know more about the commercial side of business aviation and how to differentiate yourself in the industry, read on
Who I follow on Linkedin:
Richard Branson…an entrepreneur with a broad way of thinking who has consistently, successfully expanded and responded to consumer demand. And one who recognizes humanity and the world need our help to better the lives of all. Mike Bloomberg…because I want to hear the other side of the aisle. Besides, who can not say great things about a man who has built such an economic empire! Bertrand Piccard…an intrepid explorer through whom I can live vicariously.
My favourite or most successful post:
The post itself did not shed so much light on the good works associated with this organization, but clearly just showing involvement resonated with so many across the LinkedIn platform. I was pleased with the way it raised awareness and it encouraged responses from both men and women in equal numbers. Girlstart is a game changer and if my small part in it can help change lives and shape futures for the better, then I am happy to commit my time and resources!
