Who am I:

In no particular order – I am a feminist, communicator, PhD student, debate coach, aerospace engineer, daughter, sister, scientist, advocate for gender equality, diversity and human rights, dancer… In space, I am above all passionate about human spaceflight and human exploration of Mars.

What I do:

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Protective Use of Regolith for Planetary and Lunar Exploration or PURPLE in short. This Ph.D. is supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), TRAD Tests & Radiations, and ISAE-SUPAERO under the ESA OSIP collaboration platform. Besides looking for ways to use regolith in habitat construction for astronaut protection, I train young engineers and scientists in effective communication and coach debating. Between that and walking my dog, I volunteer for Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) where among other brilliant volunteers, I work towards embracing diversity and paving the way for gender equality. In 2021, we established a new Project Group on Diversity and Gender Equality at SGAC. Shout out to the team of Giants from Our Giant Leap!

Why you should follow me on Linkedin:

If you want to be informed about and partake in the action on diversity, gender equality and human rights in the space sector, you can follow me. I also share and post about exciting activities and projects in human spaceflight, space exploration, and people from my network who inspire me.
