Who am I:
I am a Turkish girl who dreamt of being an astronaut but eventually found out that she even feels sick in a car ride. I was always passionate about space so I studied aerospace engineering. Lived in Italy, Belgium and now in Germany working on spacecraft aerothermodynamics as well as space debris mitigation. I am full supporter of supporting women in STEM fields. I try to appear in live streams of popular science in platforms like Youtube to encourage youth and especially girls to go in my field. I also try to raise awareness to the problems that women in aerospace go through with social media posts.
What I do:
I work on innovative satellite technologies, re-entry of spacecraft and the combination of both which is space debris mitigation technologies.
Why you should follow me on Linkedin:
I try to post not only related news from my field and community but also share interesting stories from the field, such as the book tips series I made on the struggles of women in aerospace.
Who I follow on Linkedin:
I mainly follow companies, research institutes, universities or UN-like international organizations who are in my field. I also follow a lot of student teams working on for example satellites or rovers. Other than that I also follow the leaders in the space community so that I am up to date with things going on.
My favourite or most successful post:
I made a series of books related to the struggles of women, Here is an example:
It may not have a lot of likes or so, but I got a lot of valuable feedback from my connections. We tend to forget reading books these days. Web is not the only source of information.
