LinkedIn has been a great tool to increase visibility on programs, thought leadership and create new relationships. All of these have moved the needle and had an impact! They create brand awareness, support the community, and lead to new opportunities such as speaking invitations, authoring books/articles, and generating leads.

I post several times a day usually sharing other organization’s and people’s programs, reports, and posts. It’s important to support our community and help promoted them — such as SGAC, WTN, UNOOSA Space 4 Women and more. Also, I like to promote post that will help people find jobs, intership, or other career development programs.

Who am I:

My life’s purpose is to bring people together to serve the greater good. I am passionate about collaborating with global organizations to advance educational and workforce opportunities for all people and to mentor the next generation of contributors improving our daily lives on Earth through space innovation.
My work to champion the inclusion of underserved groups stems from staying true to the values instilled while I was in the military a passion to share my journey and give back to the space community, As a leading role model for women in space, I was selected as the 2021 Global Technology Leader and 2020 Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Role Model of the Year by WomenTech Network.

What I do:

I bring a global perspective and deep vision of the space ecosystem from a distinguished career as a space acquisition and program management leader and Congressional Liaison for the US Air Force to my current role as Chief Operating Officer at Space Foundation, a nonprofit advocate organization, founded in 1983, for the global space ecosystem.
Advocating for space technology innovation through partnership leadership, I collaborate with organizations around the world to connect commercial, government and educational sectors. I actively participate with Women in Aerospace Foundation, Women’s Global Gathering, United Nations Space4Women, WomenTech Network, World Business Angels Investment Forum, New York University, Tod, Manufacturer’s Edge, and Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC.
