How LinkedIn has helped you in your careers or businesses:

LinkedIn has filled different roles at different stages of my career. In the current phase, while building ThinkOrbital, LinkedIn has played a key role in allowing us to grow the company’s presence in the space community, access relevant news and information from our peers, and allowed me to share relevant updates and learnings from our work at ThinkOrbital. As a platform, LinkedIn keeps evolving as well of course, so it’s amazing to see how relevant it has become to business development and community engagement compared to when I started back in 2007.

Tips on how to Thrive on LinkedIn:

I personally go for relevance of content over frequency of posts. Frequency is a great way of building your presence in the community, but it’s equally (if not more) important to channel your content towards topics that may be of personal interest or where you are growing your expertise.

What I use Linkedin for:

Networking with industry peers, partners and talent

Who am I:

I’m a problem solver;and with each problem that I address I learn and grow as an individual. Space exploration and climate are perhaps some of the most challenging problems humanity faces and rather than waiting for such challenges to be addressed through global politics and leadership, I want to be part of the process, working together with talented and inspiring individuals to solve such critical problems.

What I do:

I head strategy efforts to help build ThinkOrbital into an emerging and innovative space infrastructure developer. I engage the technical and business teams to find a balance between our space exploration goals and commercial success. At the same time, I engage with international space agencies, potential customers and partners, to collaborate and prepare our space platforms for the new space economy.

Why you should follow me on Linkedin:

Follow me if you like to read interesting ideas about the new space economy and join us through our exciting ThinkOrbital journey: on a mission to deliver large volume multi-mission space platforms.

❝This post from the Space and Things podcast where our CTO, Jim MacConnell, talks through why getting humans from planet A to B would require a range of servicing capabilities on-orbit, which is what ThinkOrbital is working towards delivering. The clip is a great snapshot of where we see the space economy growing and the role ThinkOrbital can play to support such an evolution.❞

❝I’m very passionate about what we’re building at ThinkOrbital and usually when we share our ideas or progress it seems to drive more interest from Linkedin followers, which is great motivation for the ThinkOrbital team.❞
