How LinkedIn has helped you in your careers or businesses:

LinkedIn is a great tool for my career, as it is thriving
1) The impact of my work. Disseminate the knowledge gained during my professional career and studies, and help non-space managers understand the value of space for their business.
2) My network. Get in touch and talk with experts in the field (both practitioners and scholars) that otherwise, I would never have met.
3) Engagement with the worldwide community. It allowed me to participate in conversations (and be a speaker at audio events) with CEOs and space sector managers to discuss emerging and relevant issues for the sector.
4) Being updated and forefront. It allows me to stay updated about events, seminars and conferences related to the space world and understand the need of the space community.
5) Get the opportunity to learn and show the community who I am. My passions and how they are aligned with my profession.

Tips on how to Thrive on LinkedIn:

1 – Have a clear goal for which you use LinkedIn. In my case, helping space managers understand the potentialities of space technologies in other sectors (e.g., insurance, energy)
and bringing non-space managers closer together and evangelising in adopting space technologies in their business 2 – Promote post quality rather than quantity, with practical insights 3 – Offer food for thought starting from a focused set of heterogeneous contents (e.g., news, reports, events) 4 – Consistency and periodic publication (at least 1 a week) and participation in conversations on LinkedIn

What I use Linkedin for:

I am using LinkedIn to share my knowledge about the New Space Economy and to bridge the gap between the non-space and the space sectors.
My goal is to make non-space organizations and people aware of the value of space and to help space sector professionals understand the needs and perspectives of non-space organizations and users. I use LinkedIn to foster the dialogue and exchange between these two groups
I hope to facilitate the development of mutually beneficial partnerships and collaborations that can drive the growth and innovation of both sectors.
