How LinkedIn has helped you in your careers or businesses:
LinkedIn has propelled my career and outreach efforts exponentially. LinkedIn enabled me to reach out to a large audience with common interests/goals in the aerospace industry, and develop a community of supporters/mentors. I have met some of my best mentors and role models through LinkedIn.
Furthermore, LinkedIn provided a platform to expand the outreach efforts of IgnitedThinkers, a non-profit organization I founded to spread space education to all students. Whether it be connecting with thousands of diverse individuals across the world, meeting my best mentors, or getting my foot as a young professional in the aerospace industry, LinkedIn was the platform that jump-started both my career and outreach efforts.
Tips on how to Thrive on LinkedIn:
Staying active on LinkedIn is a great way to continuously connect with incredible members who share similar passions/interests, and provides a method to stay connected professionally with the rest of your network. I post on average around once a week, but engage with my network’s posts every day. I focus on putting out content related to highlighting diverse space champions in the industry and their accomplishments, as well as outreach events and conference I had the honor of attending/organizing. With all of the content I engage with or put out, I always make sure it will add value and help overcome/address some of the systemic issues we see in the aerospace industry.
What I use Linkedin for:
To spread space education to students across the world and inspire students to start young in making a different in the world.

❝This is my most successful post because I share one of my best accomplishments of the year where I was recognized as one of the top visionary high school graduate leaders in the nation by Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. I believe it was my most successful post because my network was excited to see how my work with IgnitedThinkers to spread aerospace education to all students was starting to be recognized nationally.❞
