Who am I:
My life’s purpose is to bring people together to serve the greater good. I am passionate about collaborating with global organizations to advance educational and workforce opportunities for all people and to mentor the next generation of contributors improving our daily lives on Earth through space innovation.
My work to champion the inclusion of underserved groups stems from staying true to the values instilled while I was in the military a passion to share my journey and give back to the space community, As a leading role model for women in space, I was selected as the 2021 Global Technology Leader and 2020 Diversity and Inclusion Officer and Role Model of the Year by WomenTech Network.
What I do:
I bring a global perspective and deep vision of the space ecosystem from a distinguished career as a space acquisition and program management leader and Congressional Liaison for the US Air Force to my current role as Chief Operating Officer at Space Foundation, a nonprofit advocate organization, founded in 1983, for the global space ecosystem.
Advocating for space technology innovation through partnership leadership, I collaborate with organizations around the world to connect commercial, government and educational sectors. I actively participate with Women in Aerospace Foundation, Women’s Global Gathering, United Nations Space4Women, WomenTech Network, World Business Angels Investment Forum, New York University, Tod, Manufacturer’s Edge, and Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC.

One of my highlights of this past year was receiving the Global Technology Leadership Award for 2021 from WomenTech Network, and this post further elevated my mission 1) to spread space technology innovation awareness and access to untapped and under-represented groups and 2) to advance space technology innovation by bringing forth diverse skill sets and solutions from diverse contributors.

This post is from our 37th Space Symposium with 15,871 views to date. Space Symposium is the premier assembly for the global space ecosystem, hosted by Space Foundation since 1984. The live event was widely attended by 11,000+ commercial and government leaders, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and educators from 43 countries. In addition, a virtual audience of global attendees were able to seamlessly engage and conduct business both via our Symposium 365 Digital Platform.
