Who am I:

I am the CEO and co-founder of The Travelling Telescope a social business in Africa dedicated to promoting astronomy through education and tourism. I am passionate about education and I hope that our tools inspire the next generation of African scientists and leaders to have a better appreciation of humanity, our host planet and sustainability. I am also passionate about conserving our natural world and our night sky is an extension of it, we cannot have elephants or tomatoes without a planet and we cannot have a planet without a star. Taking our 12 inch computerised telescope around Africa and seeing how much people are connected to our sky or are reminded to connect to it is often very humbling.

What I do:

I am an astronomy education and public outreach expert and a social enterprenuer. I run a company that is dedicated to promoting astronomy through education and astro-tourism. We also recently built a planetarium out of bamboo in an effort to demonstrate green buildings. This is the only permanent planetarium in East and Central Africa.

Why you should follow me on Linkedin:

My passion for education, space exploration, sustainable entrepreneurship, astro-tourism and African youth.
